Untold bible story

And there were in the same country tax collectors keeping watch over their gold by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the collectors said one to another, this may be true; but if we go and see what has been told, a thief may come and take our livelihoods.
And they stayed there and continued their counting.

It is funny

When people think someone is original they'll say "when they made you, they broke the mold." But God has formed us with His own hands. We are all uniquely created; it is society that tries to fit us into standardized molds. So when someone acts on their own thoughts and ideas what we should say is: "when society tried to change you, you broke the mold."

Christmas

One singluar thing stands out as against the true Spirit of Christmas: the gift tag. If you want to give someone a gift, you should do it because you want them to have it. Not because you want them to like it, or have them thank you for it (though a good receiver will). True gifts are given out of a desire to give, not for any compensation or reciprocation. To give a gift with "from" filled out is giving for selfish reasons. Giving gifts anonymously without waiting to see if they like it, is giving in a generous spirit; like dying for the world's sins and rising up to heaven before seeing if anyone accepts.
